The International Inbound Travel Association, Inc. (IITA) is a nonprofit trade association representing the United States' international inbound travel industry. IITA members include inbound operators (tour operators, receptive tour operators, destination management companies), destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and suppliers (hotels/lodging, transportation, attractions, restaurants, etc.) from across the country.
IITA inbound operators are US-based companies, which specialize in creating, marketing, and selling US travel products and services to international trade buyers. An inbound operator derives the majority of its revenue from inbound international travel to the United States. These inbound operators contract with overseas tour wholesalers, agents and other travel producers to provide travel services throughout the US for their leisure groups and FIT travelers, and business/MICE clients.
Inbound Operator Membership is available to travel companies (for example, receptive tour operators, destination management companies, or incentive management companies) with registered offices in the U.S. deriving revenue from B2B inbound travel services to the U.S.
